Wolcott – Isabelle Thibault-Proteau, 51, of Wolcott, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at the VITAS Hospice at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by family. She was the loving wife of Steve Proteau for the past 31 years.

Isabelle was born on July 21, 1971 in Stratfrod, Quebec, Canada to Jeannine (Herbert) and the Late Renald Thibault. She worked as a Physical Therapist at St. Mary's Hospital for 27 years, a job that she truly loved. She enjoyed going to her kids sporting events, her pets, and visiting her lake house in Canada. Most of all she cherished her family.

Besides her husband and mother, Isabelle is survived by her three children,  Justin Proteau and his wife Danyela Proteau, Stephanie Proteau, and Travis Proteau; and five siblings, Réjeanne, Hugette, Linda, Réal, and Gerald.

Calling hours will be Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main St., Waterbury. There will be a celebration of life service with the location and time to be provided at a later date.
