Obituary
Waterbury- Mr. Adam G. Wiggins, 58, of Hans Ave. died Wednesday, October 15 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Pat (Cyr) Wiggins.
Mr. Wiggins was born June 29, 1950 in Waterbury son of the late Gabriel and Ruth (Austin) Wiggins. Raised in the Waterbury area he attended local schools. Adam had served honorably in the United States Marine Corp, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He had been employed as head custodian of Sprague School in Waterbury for 25 years, recently retiring. He was a member of the VFW and DAV and will be remembered as an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Rene Wiggins of Waterbury and Andrea Wiggins and her husband Alex Bickford of Manchester, NH; one brother, Michael Wiggins of Terryville; two sisters, Mary Wiggins of New York, NY and Sue Wiggins of Bristol; several nephews and nieces and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Patrick's Church, Waterbury. Burial with full military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, October 17 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury.
