Obituary
Waterbury- Mr. Alfonso Pagan, Sr, 80, died on Thursday morning, February 19, at Paradigm Healthcare Center in Waterbury. He was the husband of Ramonita (Sanchez) Pagan.
Alfonso was born June 6, 1934 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, son of the late Angel and Francisca Hernandez Pagan. He had retired from the City of Waterbury, working for many years as a custodian at several local schools.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Alfonso Pagan, Jr of NY and Oscar Pagan of Waterbury; two daughters, Milagros Castillo of PA and Wilda Evon of Waterbury; one brother, Julio Pagan; two sisters, Ofelia Rivera and Rosa Acosta; one grandson, Randy Evon, Jr and one nephew.
Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 22, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. T
