Waterbury- Alice M. Grant, died Sunday morning February 8 at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness.

Miss Grant was born July 19, 1924 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Joseph
L. Grant and Pleasant (Tustin) Grant. She was the niece of Joseph L. and Irene
(Skelly) Byrnes, with whom she made her home. She was educated at Sacred
Heart Grammar School and Sacred Heart High School. She attended St. Mary's
Hospital School of Nursing and had been employed at St. Mary's Hospital for 47
years until her retirement in 1990.

Miss Grant is survived by her sister, Ethel Shea of Watertown, and three nephews, John, Patrick and Timothy; and a cousin William R. McAndrew of New York.

Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 12 at 9:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, Wolcott St. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
