Waterbury – Mrs. Amira (Djedovic) Jahic, 63, passed away on Thursday morning, May 3, at her home. She was the wife of Semso Jahic. Amira was born June 24, 1954 in Bijeljina, Bosnia, daughter of the late Mehmedalija and Belkisa (Mrljanikovic) Djedovic. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Eldan Jahic and his wife Sejla and Mehmed Jahic and his wife Ismihana, all of Newington; one daughter, Azra Dedovic and her husband Senad of Woodbury; one brother, Semir Djedovic of Waterbury; two sisters, Nesima Mustavinaj and Merima Tupkusic, both of Waterbury; many grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services with prayers and burial were held on Friday, May 4, at the New Pine Grove Cemetery.
