Waterbury – Anastacia Torres, 80, of Waterbury, passed away on December 3, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late Aurelio Torres Lopez. Anastacia was born on March 23, 1942 in St. Isabel, PR., daughter of the late Perfecto Santiago and Confesora Torres. Family was most important to her and she was extremely dedicated to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her five children, Miguel Torres, Walberto Torres, Billy Torres, Lizette Torres, and Sonia Donato; her siblings, Haydee, Norma, and Griselle Bernacett of Long Island, Maritza Soto of Florida, Aurora Rodriguez of Waterbury, Ruth Bernacett of PR; several grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, nephews; and one great-great grandson. Three brothers and a sister predeceased her. Calling hours are Friday, December 9, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 E. Main St., Waterbury. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
