Obituary

Naugatuck  -  Ann (Baukus) Egan, 93, died Tuesday, June 16, at the Glendale Center. She was the widow of Francis J. Egan.

Mrs. Egan was born March 6, 1916 in Naugatuck, daughter of the late Frank and Antoinina (Meskuite) Baukus. Ann graduated from Naugatuck High School and trained at the G. Fox & Company Fashion Design Department in Hartford. She was retired from Waterbury Hospital where she was employed as a Nurse Aide.

She was a communicant of St. Vincent Ferrer's Church, Naugatuck and a devout follower of both the women's and men's UCONN basketball teams. .

Mrs. Egan leaves two sons, Brian Egan of Wells, Maine and Dennis Egan and his wife Linda of Apopka, Florida, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is preceded in death my her five siblings: Victor Burkus and Frances Baukus of Naugatuck, Ellen Bergin of Prospect, Alexander Baukus of Norwalk and Christopher Baukus who died at birth.

Arrangements: Private graveside services for Mrs. Egan will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. There are no calling hours. A memorial servive will be held during July at a DTBD.
