Waterbury- Mrs. Blandine (Descoteaux) Loiseau, 87, died Thursday, November 4, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the widow of Raymond F. Loiseau, Sr.
Mrs. Loiseau was born March 21, 1923 in St. Bonaface, Canada, daughter of the late Telesphore and Eulalie (Lampron) Descoteaux. Mrs. Loiseau moved to the United States in 1949 from Joliette, Canada, when she married the late Raymond Loiseau, her husband of 41 years. They resided in Waterbury and raised their family in the Overlook section. She was a former communicant of St. Margaret Church and currently was a communicant of Our Lady of Loreto Church.
She is survived by one son, Raymond F. Loiseau, Jr; two daughters, Diane L. Bacchiocchi and her husband Albert and Louise L. Bacchiocchi and her husband James, all of Waterbury; one brother, Euclide Descoteaux of Montreal, Canada; one sister, Lawrence Descoteaux of Repentigney, Canada; six grandchildren, Theresa Lucibello and her husband Gregory, Paul Bacchiocchi, Danielle Loiseau, Nicole Loiseau, Lisa Bacchiocchi and Laura Bacchiocchi and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: The funeral procession will leave the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. on Tuesday morning, November 9, at 9:30 A.M. to arrive at Our Lady of Loreto Church for mass of Christian burial at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 8, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
