Waterbury – Mr. Brian J. Coughlin, 66, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 17, at his home. He was the husband of the late Mary Jo (Raucci) Coughlin. Brian was born October 9, 1951 in Waterbury, son of the late Francis T. and Sally (Lahey) Coughlin. Raised in Waterbury, he was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament Grammar School and J.F. Kennedy High School. Brian retired in December of 2017 from William B. Meyer Co. in Stratford, CT, where he specialized in corporate relocations. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Cortney Bedard and her husband Joshua of Wheatfield, IN; one brother, John J. Coughlin of Milford; three loving grandchildren, Joseph, Logan and Alianna and several nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his brother, F. Terrence Coughlin and his sister, Eileen A. Coughlin. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, May 23, at 11:00 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Church 182 Robbins St. Waterbury. There are no Calling hours. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to his grandchildren, the Bedard Children's Educational Fund C/O of Cortney Bedard 138 West Central St. Wheatfield, IN 46392.
