Mrs. Carmen Maria (Estrada) Quinones
WATERBURY - Carmen M. Quinones, 74, of Beverly Ave., died Thursday, August 31, 2006 after a long illness. She became the widow of Americo Quinones in 1998.
Mrs. Quinones was born February 17, 1932 in Penuelas, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Isaias and Romona (Pacheco) Estrada. Carmen came to Waterbury in 1956. She became a member of Saint Cecilia Church in Waterbury.
She leaves three sons; Vincente, Americo and Alexander Quinones all of Waterbury; four daughters; Marilu Quinones, Maria Coles, Elizabeth Torres and Annette Vazquez all of Waterbury; two brothers; Isaias Estrada of Waterbury, Adolpho Estrada of New Britian; a sister Virgenmina Guadalupe of Waterbury, twenty one grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. She was pre-deceased by a son Luis Angel Quinones, three brothers; Angel, Antonio, and Santo Estrada and a sister Altagracia Torres.
Arrangements: Funeral will be Saturday at 8:15am from Bergin Funeral Home, 290 E. Main St., to arrive at Sacred Heart Church for a Mass at 9:00am. Calling hours will be today from 4-8pm at the Funeral Home.
