Waterbury – Mrs. Carmen Ada (Castellano) Santiago, 72, of Waterbury, passed away on August 9, 2014 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of 35 years to Mr. Manual Santiago of Waterbury.

Carmen was born on October 26, 1941 in Dorado, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Angel and Adelina (Santiago) Castellano.

Besides her husband, Carmen is survived by her children, Alex Vargas, Adeline Santiago, Tony Santiago and Nancy Diaz; brothers, Anibal Castellano and Neddy Castellano; and her nephew, Pastor Angel Castellano. She was predeceased by a brother, Angel Castellano; two daughters, Magda and Mavel Castellano; and a great granddaughter, Evelyn M. Barrow.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Jehova Jireh Christian Church, 1271 East Main St., Waterbury. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, August 13, from 4:00 to 10:00 P.M. at the church.
