Obituary
Waterbury – Mrs. Cecelia Ordina (Germaine) Bourassa, 96, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Sheridan Woods Health Care Center of Bristol.
She was the loving wife of the late Jules H. Bourassa. She was born on October 5, 1918 to the late Alfred and Marie Germaine of New Britain.
She is survived by two sons, Andre J. Bourassa and his wife Joanne of Bristol; Eugene H. Bourassa and his wife Darlene of Stafford Springs; her six grandchildren Michael Bourassa and his wife Lisa; David Bourassa and his wife Karen; Julie (Bourassa) Sacharko and her husband Jeff; Maura (Bourassa) Bellino; Joseph Bourassa; and Sarah (Bourassa) Starbird and her husband Kevin; her nine great-grandchildren Aiden, Emily, Madelyn, Harrison, Stephanie, Gabrielle, Alexandre, Cassandra, and Kole.
Cecelia loved reading and writing poetry. Above all, she was completely devoted to her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for them. Her door was always open and she always made room at the table when her sons would bring home a friend.
Mrs. Bourassa's family would like to thank the staff of Sheridan Woods for the tender care Cecelia received during her stay.
Funeral services for Cecelia will be held at the convenience of the family.
