Waterbury - Cecelia Teresa Rosa, 72, passed away at home on Friday, March 2, 2018, surrounded by her beloved family. Ms. Rosa was born in Santi Isabel, Puerto Rico, on April 28, 1945 to the late Blaz Olivera and Josefina Rosado. She was a proud homemaker, and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memories are her five children, Marta; Herman; Albert; Nancy; and Irad Hernandez; her three sisters, Elise Rosado, of Waterbury; Virginmina, of New Jersey; and Sonia, of Puerto Rico; her two brothers, Hector and Raul, of Puerto Rico; her companion of 34 years, Hector Pabey; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six siblings, Blas; Joed; Richard; Luis; Ester; and Carmen. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Shrine of St. Anne, 515 South Main Street, Waterbury. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
