Our beloved Ceylon Edmond, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the age of 57. He was the cherished husband of Charlene (Andrews) Edmond. Ceylon was born in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica on November 4, 1967, son of the late Vivian and Ellen (Robinson) Edmond. He worked for many years as a live-in PCA. He leaves behind his treasured family, which includes his wife, Charlene Edmond; his children, Alex Edmond; and Chevelle Edmond, and her baby boy, Demoy; his step-daughter, Charde Graham; his brothers, Amos Fair; and Ellon Edmond; his sisters; Janet Edmond; Marvelyn Edmond; Coneta Rowe; Carmen Morris; Elsie Henry; Verolin Hamilton; Jasmine Vassell; and Ives Sangster; his best friend, Suvalu Jones; his granddaughter, Lila; nieces; nephews; and other beloved extended family and friends. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7 at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. A funeral home service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury.
