Obituary
Waterbury- Mr. Chris Kachulis, 76, formerly of Joy Rd. died Tuesday, April 15 at Valerie Manor in Torrington.
Mr. Kachulis was born June 29, 1931 in Waterbury son of Bessie (Parthemas) Kachulis of Waterbury and the late Gus Kachulis. He was raised in Waterbury and attended local schools. He was the co-owner of the Center Luncheonette in Waterbury for many years and served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War.
In addition to his mother he is survived by two sons, Dean Kachulis and John Kachulis both of Waterbury; one daughter, Kim Canavan of Westfield, NJ; one sister, Antoinette Coukis of Waterbury; one nephew Peter Coukis; one grandson and one granddaughter. He was predeceased by a niece Valerie.
