Waterbury - It is with great sadness that the family of Cristian "Bean" Marrero, 30, of Waterbury, announce his passing due to heart failure on September 18, 2017. Born on December 10, 1986 in Waterbury, Cristian graduated from North End and Wilby High School.

Cristian was an active member of Crossover 4 Christ and is well known in the Waterbury community. He was a volunteer at Rivera Baldwin Rec and was an active volunteer throughout political campaigns.  Famous for his dancing and smile, Cristian lit up the room wherever he went.

He will be survived by his son, Jonathan Marrero, 4 and is lovingly remembered by his mother, Sandra Vargas, and brother, Emanuel Hilerio. Cristian will also be forever remembered by his numerous uncles, aunts, family, and dear friends.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main St, Waterbury. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
