Obituary
Waterbury- Mr. Damaso Torres, 79, died Friday, January 14, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of the late Digna Colon.
Mr. Torres was born April 13, 1931 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, son of the late Francisco and Inocencia Torres. He had been employed in construction until his retirement. He will always be loved and missed by his family.
He is survived by one son, Edwin of Waterbury; seven daughters, Zely, Elba, Miriam, Evelyn, Madelyn, Elizabeth and Mariely all of Waterbury; fourteen brothers and sisters; twenty three grandchildren; thirty four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 19, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Margaret's Church, 289 Willow Street. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, January 18, from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main Street.
