New Britain – Diana I. Morales, age 38, entered the gates of heaven peacefully on Sunday, Feb.16, 2025, surrounded by her family, after a long illness. Diana was born in Waterbury on March 31, 1986, daughter of Rafael and Priscilla Morales. Besides her parents, Diana leaves behind her brothers Rafael Morales and his wife Mariela Rodriguez of Waterbury, and Wilbert Santiago of Pottstown. She also leaves behind her uncles David and Enrique Velez and aunts Yolanda Velez and Marta Gandia. She was beloved dearly by her cousins Mayra Britt, Ivonne Gonzalez, Merielen Santiago,Carmen Griffin, Armando Torres Jr.,Eliezer Torres, Brenda Garcia, Josue Torres, Ezequiel Torres, Anais Torres, Amanda Torres, Joana Emerson, Cheyla Velez-Gandia, Enid Velez, Marisol Cosme, Alberto Cosme, David Velez Jr., Melvin Santiago and Israel Santos. As our family mourns the loss of our special angel, we are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our family and friends. From the bottom of our heart we would love to thank each and everyone of you for your kind words and taking time to celebrate the life of our beloved Diana. A funeral home service will be held on Saturday, February 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. Family and friends may gather from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury.
