Waterbury- Mrs. Dolores G. (Migliaro) Cesare, 80, died Thursday, July 9 at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury. She was the widow of Liberto R. Cesare.
Mrs. Cesare was born February 17, 1929 in Waterbury daughter of the late Eugene A. and Marie V. (Sylvestro) Migliaro, Sr. Active in Waterbury politics Dolores had been a member of the Democratic Town Committee for over twenty years, serving as secretary for several years and served the City of Waterbury on the Board of Tax Review. She was a member of the East End Community Club and had served as secretary for several years, was a member of the Italian Heritage Club, was a Justice of the Peace and a communicant and member of the Ladies Guild of St. Francis Xavier Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Benedict and Judy Fontaine both of Waterbury; one sister, Marie Candido of Waterbury; five granddaughters, Joanna Fontaine, Diana Benedict, Jennifer Fontaine, Jessica Fontaine and Stephanie Benedict and one great grandson, Simeon Hoffler and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Joseph R. Cesare and her three brothers, Anthony E. Migliaro, Raymond J. Migliaro and Eugene A. Migliaro, Jr.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 13 at 9:15 A.M. from the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. to St. Francis Xavier Church for mass of Christian burial at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, July 12 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
