Watertown- Dolores (Lolita) Agripina Garcia, 85 died Sunday, December 01, 2013 at her home with her family at her side.
Lolita was born June 23, 1928, in Havana Cuba to Angel and Dolores Pedrido of Galicia, Spain. She and her Pre-deceased husband Teofilo Juan Garcia-Muino of Galicia, Spain were proprietors of a Pharmacy in Havana, Cuba for 15 years before migrating to the United States in 1966. She was employed by The Lila Dress Company and was an accomplished seamstress of wedding gowns and formal dresses. Having survived Polio in 1957, she was known for her tireless energy and will power to overcome her physical disabilities.
She is survived by her son, Teofilo A. (Phil) Garcia and daughter-in-law Rosanne Garcia of Watertown, CT and son Armando Garcia and daughter-in-law Lourdes La-Fontaine Garcia of Mount Kisco, NY. She is also survived by her 6 loving grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, at 11:00 AM at the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury, followed by entombment in Calvary Garden Mausoleum in the Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 A.M. until time of service.
