Obituary
Domingo Simons, 71, of Coe Street, died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Mr. Simons was born January 8, 1939, in Luquillo, Puerto Rico, son to the late Juan Simons and Eugenia Carmona. Domingo was a member of Sacred Heart, Sagrado Corazon Church. He was last employed at Grodel Mfg. Inc. as a machine operator. He enjoyed and had a tremendous amount of love for his family.
Domingo is survived by a brother, Johnny Simons, of Florida, five sisters, Alberta "Gloria" Simons of Texas, Isabel Simons of Waterbury, Perfecta Perez of Waterbury, Mercedes Rodriguez of Waterbury, Victoria Simons of Puerto Rico, five nieces, four nephews, seventeen great nieces and nephews and many step nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: Friends and family are asked to gather Tuesday February 2, at Sacred Heart, Sagrado Corazon Church for a Mass at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 E. Main Street, Waterbury.
