Obituary
Waterbury- Ms. Donna L. Manzella, 55, died Thursday, March 19 at Meridian Manor.
Donna was born May 21, 1953 in Waterbury daughter of the late Gaetano and Evelyn (Ryan) Manzella. A lifelong resident of Waterbury she had worked for Timex and O&G. She was member of the Christ CME Church and sang in the senior choir.
She is survived by one son, Donte Manzella Jordan of Waterbury; one sister, Catherine Genova of Waterbury; two nieces, Toni Genova of Waterbury and Lisa Roy of Wolcott; her good friend and roommate Virginia Jordan of Waterbury; her best friend Rev. Bertha Davis and her husband Glen and their children, Shavon Riddick and Chantel Holley of Waterbury; her cousin, Catherine Bonacassio; friends Peter and Roberta Dubroski and several great nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Edmund and Frank Manzella.
The family would like to thank the staff of Meridian Manor for the excellent care Donna received while a resident.
Arrangements: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28 at 10:00 A.M. at the Christ CME Church, 32 Maple St. in Waterbury. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery.
