Waterbury – Mr. Edward M. Ryan, Jr, 80, passed away on Sunday, February 4, at Vitas Inpatient Hospice Unit at St. Mary's Hospital. Edward was born July 8, 1943, in Waterbury, son of the late Edward M. and Dorothy (Dobson) Ryan. Ed attended local schools and the Cheshire Academy Junior School and graduated from the Brookside School in Great Barrington, MA. As a youth Ed served as a caddy at the Waterbury Country Club. He was employed for many years at Fleisher Finishing Co. Ed's interests included music and taking long walks. Edward is survived by his sister, Anne McGann of Woodbury; his niece Jennifer and nephew Earl. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, February 8, at the Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury at 11:00 A.M.
