Obituary
Waterbury - Eileen McAvoy passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 21st, 8 days short of her 50th birthday.
She is survived by her two daughters, Susan McAvoy and Cathy Cardona, grandson, Jevon of Waterbury, CT, her father Joseph McAvoy, of Watertown, brothers Terry McAvoy, of Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Michael McAvoy, of Bronx, New York, sister Susan McAvoy, and niece, Kayla Reardon, of Watertown. She is predeceased by her mother, Catherine McAvoy.
Eileen's greatest joy was spending time with her grandson, Jevon. She had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off her back to a stranger. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 25th at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St, in Waterbury from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
