Obituary
Elizabeth "Betty" (McGrath) Bubeck, 97, widow of John J. Bubeck, died on Saturday, January 10 at home. Betty was born in Tulla, County Clare, Ireland on January 4, 1911 and was daughter of the late Timothy and Brigid Delia (McGrath) McGrath. She has resided in Middlebury since 1940 and prior to retiring she was employed at the former Chase Brass and Copper Company in Waterbury. She was a communicant of St. John of the Cross Church.
Betty is survived by a brother, Matthew "Mattie" McGrath of Ennis, County Clare, Ireland; two grandchildren, Elizabeth "Beth" Lane of Naugatuck and John "Jamie" M. Kantor and several nieces and nephews including a special caring nephew, Timothy T. McGrath and his wife Catherine of Long Beach, NY. In addition to her her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Kantor; a sister, Margaret and brothers, Timothy, James, John, Joseph, Vincent, Christy, Paddy and Harry.
