Obituary
Watertown- Mrs. Elizabeth A. (Sexton) McDonald, 85, formerly of Waterbury died Thursday, June 24, at her home with her family by her side. She was the widow of Attorney Arthur M. McDonald.
Mrs. McDonald was born February 27, 1925 in Sharon daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Rice) Sexton. She was a former member of the Watertown Golf Club.
She is survived by one son, Brian P. McDonald of Waterbury; one daughter, Marilyn McDonald of Watertown with whom she resided; three grandchildren, Arthur Michael McDonald, Jonathan Chase McDonald and Alexandra Rose McDonald; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs Lizzy and Lilly. She was predeceased by her son Arthur Michael "Archie" McDonald, three sisters and one brother.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 28, at 10:15 A.M. from the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception for mass of Christian burial at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Old St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, June 27, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
