Obituary
Catonsville, MD- Mrs. Emilie Fitzpatrick Daly died on June 13, 2011 after a short illness. She was born in Waterbury on May 18, 1921 and resided in Waterbury and Middlebury until 2006. She was the widow of Edmund J. Daly III. An honors graduate of Crosby High School, Emilie enjoyed playing duplicate bridge and golfing with friends and family.
She is survived by a son, Edmund J Daly IV of Catonsville, MD, his wife Kitty, and daughter-in-law Anne Daly, widow of her son Jeremiah M. Daly. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Margaret D. Freeman of Dixon, Mo, Kathryn Blythe Daly of NYC, Jeremiah M Daly of London, England, and Sarah Daly, Ben Daly, Will Daly, and Jessica Daly all of Boston, Ma. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Spencer, Cooper, and Tanner Freeman.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 28 at 11 AM at St. John of the Cross Church in Middlebury. Private burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
