Waterbury- Mrs. Encarnacion (Nebres) Hartmann, 93, died Friday, may 20, at the Rosegarden Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Harry Hartmann, Jr.
Mrs. Hartman was born January 20, 1918 in the Philippines daughter of the late Candido and Anatalia (Ninal) Nebres. Before moving to the United States, and Connecticut, Encarnacion had been employed as a grammar school teacher in the Philippines. She was a communicant of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
She is survived by two daughters, Estrella Jubal and Marina Macatol both of Waterbury; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Pablo Paglinawan, Jr.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, at 10:30 A.M. from the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception for mass of Christian burial at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. A calling hour will be held on Monday morning from 9:30 A.M. until time to leave, in procession, for mass at 10:30 A.M.
