Mrs. Esther V. (Smith) Taggett
Wolcott — Esther V. Taggett, 94, of Bayview Circle, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Bristol Hospital. She was the widow to John Taggett.
Mrs. Taggett was born April 14, 1915 in Ansonia to the late John and Mary (Murphy) Smith. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Esther retired as an inspector from Hemmingway Box Shop about 29 years ago. She is remembered for being an avid reader, her love for going to the casinos and spending time with her family during her favorite time of the year, Christmas.
Esther leaves three sons, John Taggett and his wife Elaine of Waterbury, James Taggett and his wife Deborah of Portland, Timothy Taggett of Virginia, three daughters, Lorraine Lynch and her husband Patrick of Waterbury, Patricia Galanti and her husband Vincent of Wolcott, Marilyn Taggett and her fiancé Arnie DePascale of Burlington, ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Arrangements: All services will be private. Bergin Funeral Home has care of the arrangements.
