Obituary
Waterbury- Ms Eugenia Viera, of 2 North Main St., died Thursday evening, February 14, at her home.
Eugenia was born December 6, 1929 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Ramon Viera and Carmen Sandoval. She will be remembered as a devout Catholic and for the tremendous joy she found in spending time with her grandchildren. She attended the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Church and Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon Church.
She is survived by her son, Andres Figueroa of Waterbury; five sisters, Esperanza, Catin, Elena, Carmen and Lydia, all of PR; three grandchildren, Ivelys, Andy and Anthony Figueroa; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Raymond and Angel and one daughter, Aurelia.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday evening, February 20, at 7:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St., with Father Carlos Zapata officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until time of service.
