Waterbury – Felix Machado, Sr, 73, passed away on Tuesday at Abbott Terrace. He was the husband of Maria (Diaz) Machado.

Mr. Machado was born August 19, 1942 in Penuelas, Puerto Rico, son of Matilda Sanchez of Waterbury and the late Felix Machado Perez. He had worked as a chef for many years at the Waverly Inn in Cheshire, the Clam Box in Watertown, Expresso Pizza Restaurant in Waterbury and at Pisano's in Waterbury.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Hector M. Machado and Arturo Machado both of Waterbury; two daughters, Maritza Miranda of Seymour and Karina Machado of Waterbury; seven brothers, Luis Machado, Demetrio Machado, Santos Machado, John Machado, Charlie Rosado, Porfio Machado and Julio Machado; five sisters, Juanita Medina, Matilda Munoz, Carmen Machado, Milagros Machado and Rosa Martinez; ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Felix Machado, Jr.

Arrangements: A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon Church. Friends and family are asked to meet at church.
