Obituary
Waterbury – Frances A. Murgatroy, 51, passed away on Monday, February 22, at the Vitas Innovative Hospice Unit at St. Mary's Hospital.
Frances was born February 9, 1965 in Waterbury, daughter of Eleanor (Azukas) Matkin of Waterbury and the late Raymond Murgatroy. Raised in Waterbury she attended local schools and attended Wilby High School. She had been employed for over nine years with Durham Bus Company as a driver.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her daughter, Virginia L. Murgatroy of Waterbury and her brother, Frank R. Murgatroy of Waterbury. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Murgatroy and sister, Tami Lynn Murgatroy.
The family would like to thank the staff of Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center of Waterbury for the care and support given to Frances and her family during her fight with cancer.
Arrangements: A funeral service will be held on Thursday evening, February 25, at 7:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until time of service. Burial will be private.
