Obituary
Waterbury – Mr. Gary S. Chenkus, 64, passed away on Tuesday morning, September 1, at his home surrounded by his family.
Gary was born August 28, 1951 in Fort Lee, Virginia, son of the late Stanley and Marie (LaPointe) Chenkus, Sr. Raised in Waterbury he attended local schools and had served honorably in the United States Army. He will be remembered for his love of fishing and family.
Gary is survived by his three brothers, Lawrence R. Chenkus, Edward Chenkus and Stanley Chenkus, Jr; one sister Joann Jones and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements: All funeral services are private. Arrangements are in the care of the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury.
