Waterbury- Georgina (Quiles Ramos) Plaza of Union Street, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her loving children. Georgina was born on September 20, 1945 in Utuado, Puerto Rico. Georgina resided in Waterbury for ten years. She was the daughter of the late Epifanio and Carmen (Ramos) Quiles.
Georgina is survived by two sons; Edward Plaza Sr. and his wife Judy (Rosado) of Waterbury, Wilfredo Plaza Sr. and his wife Julie (Crespo) of Wolcott, a daughter Yajaira Rosario and her husband Samuel of Texas, six grandchildren, Wilfredo Plaza Jr., Edward A. Plaza Jr., David A. Plaza, Jonathan Plaza, Jasmin Plaza and Michelle Rosario, she also leaves two great grandchildren, Angelina G. Plaza and Kianna G. Rosario, a beloved niece Nelly Likley and her husband Robert of Watertown and a nephew Nelson Plaza of Prospect. She leaves six sisters and two brothers all from Puerto Rico. Georgina was predeceased by a grandson, Samuel Rosario II.

Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 11, at the Bergin Funeral Home, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in Puerto Rico.
