Mrs. Gloria I. Albanese
Wolcott — Gloria I. Albanese, 75, of Cancellaro Dr., died Friday at home. She was the widow of Joseph J. Albanese.
Mrs. Albanese was born July 24, 1932, in Groton, to the late Wilfred Provancher and Edith Champaign.
Gloria loved spending time with family, playing bingo and going to the casinos. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church of Waterbury.
She is survived by four sons, Joseph J. Albanese of FLA, Anthony Albanese of Waterbury, Nicholas Albanese of Naugatuck, Wilfred Albanese of Wolcott, four daughters, Mary Pagan of Puerto Rico, Frances Layton of Wolcott, Sophie Campagna of Wolcott, Gloria Grenier of Waterbury, twenty one grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: A funeral will be held Tuesday, directly at the Immaculate Conception Church for a mass at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
