Obituary

Waterbury- Mrs. Gloria G. (Lynch) Campbell, 71, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at her home. She was the widow of Enos L. Campbell.

Mrs. Campbell was born July 1, 1938 in Negril Westmoreland, Jamaica. She was the daughter of the late Joel and Adora (Sommerville) Lynch. She had worked for many years as a nursing assistant at Westport Manor and was a member of the United Congregational Church in West Norwalk and had been active in the choir.

She is survived by one son, Lloyd Campbell, Sr of Waterbury; three daughters, Joyce Wilson Mungai of LaPlata, MD, Rosemarie Gordon of Greensboro, NC and Marian Campbell-Gethers of Waterbury; one brother, Vincent Lynch of Jamaica; three sisters, Mabel Dunbar, Francella Williams and Nellie Williams all of Jamaica; four grandchildren, Lisa Villarouel, Melissa McCaw, Matthew Gethers and Lloyd Campbell, Jr; seven great grandchildren, Kevin, Cameron, Jayson, Dylan and Logan Villarouel, Ariana Wilson and Jordan McCaw; brother-in-law, Ulick Dunbar; sister-in-law, Alvina Lynch and many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. She was predeceased by her grandson, Jonathan Wilson and her brothers, Joseph Jackson and George Bromfield.
