Obituary
Norwalk- Mr. Harold P. "Phil" Post, Jr, 60, formerly of Waterbury, died suddenly on Tuesday, November 24, at his home.
Mr. Post was born April 30, 1949 in Waterbury son of the late Harold P. and Regina Post Sr. Raised in Waterbury he attended local schools and was a graduate of Wolcott High School. In 1973 he became a member of the Waterbury Police Department were he proudly served for twenty three years, retiring in 1996. After his career as a police officer, which was his love, he started a second career as an LPN, working at the Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and being the life of the party.
He is survived by his sister, June Hartigan and her husband Robert of Waterbury; his brother, George Kozlow of Waterbury; one niece, Lisa Kleinert of ME; one nephew, Steven Dubish of CO; his aunt Marie Westerlund and her husband Lou of Waterbury; his companion of seven years, Nancy Cook of Norwalk and his former wife, Laurine Murray of Prospect.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, at 12:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Calling hours are from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
