Waterbury – Mr. Hector Crespo, 72, of Waterbury, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of the late Raquel Crespo. Hector was born on January 25, 1947 in Puerto Rico. He worked for 42 years at Whyco Chromium in Thomaston until his retirement. Hector loved to do carpentry work in his spare time. He is survived by two sons, Hector L. Crespo, and Ricahrd A. Crespo; two grandchildren, Alexander M. Crespo and Lee Ann Crespo; his brother Raul Crespo; and his sister Mina Crespo. Calling hours will be Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 E. Main St., Waterbury. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 21, at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
