Waterbury – Hector L. Pabey, 68, passed away on March 8, 2019. He was born in Penuelas, Puerto Rico on September 7, 1950 to the late Nazario and Angela (Velasquez) Pabey. Hector is survived by his children, Evelyn Pabey; Madeline Pabey; Jeanette Pabey; and Dario Pabey; his step-son, Irad Hernandez; his siblings, Maria Morales; Irma Pabey; Bethzaida Pabey; Elia Pabey; Euray Pabey; Jose Morales; Wilfredo Morales, and his wife, Myriam; and Rosemary Rodriguez; and his nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Hector was predeceased by his longtime companion, Cecelia Rosa; and his siblings, Jose L. Morales; Alberto Pabey; Felix Pabey; and Josepha Pabey. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. A funeral home service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
