WATERBURY — Isaac Rivera, 51, of North Main St., died unexpectedly Sunday, January 4, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Rivera was born May 30, 1957, in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, son of the late Baltazar and Dolores(Pabon) Rivera.
Isaac was currently employed at Devon Manufacturing in Wolcott as a machine operator. He was a member at Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon Church of Waterbury. Mr. Rivera was an avid movie collector, he liked taking road trips, especially to Florida, spending time with his nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, Isaac never minded helping people and loved telling jokes and laughing. He was devoted to his parents before the passed away and was always there for family.
He is survived by a brother Luis Rivera of FLA, four sisters Lydia Madera of Waterbury, Lillian Plumey of P.R., Leida Ramos of FLA, Norma Hernandez of Waterbury, an uncle Luis Rivera of N. Carolina, an aunt Christina Andujar of P.R., a cousin Altmio Andujar of P.R., sixteen nieces and nephews and twenty-four great nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: Friends and family are asked to gather Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 E. Main Waterbury, to arrive at Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon for Mass at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury.
