Waterbury – Mr. Israel Garcia, 67, passed away on Friday, February 14, at his home. Israel was born June 8 1952 in Penuelas, Puerto Rico to Israel Garcia Pacheco and Luz Maria Santiago Matos. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Israe'a Garcia; his sons Israel Garcia Jr., Amoro Garcia and Orlando Garcia; 13 grandchildren; his siblings sister Maritza Maia and her husband Ronald Maia; brothers Ralph Garcia, Orlando Garcia and his wife Cookie Garcia and several nieces and nephews and beloved family and friends. Israel served in the United States Navy and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal upon his honorable discharge. After serving his country he went on to do what he enjoyed earning a certificate in Auto Mechanics.
