Waterbury- Mr. James M. Bell, 85, of West Main St., died Monday evening, January 18, at St. Mary's Hospital.
Mr. Bell was born October 14, 1924 in Waterbury son of the late Charles I. and Margaret (Mulholland) Bell. Raised in Waterbury he had attended local schools. He had worked for the Mattatuck Manufacturing Co., Berco Manufacturing and had retired from Engineered Sinterings and Plastics as a quality control inspector. He was an avid bingo player and enjoyed his trips to the casinos.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandy Tanganelli and her husband Tom of Woodbury and Ann M. Ricard and her husband Edward of Waterbury; five grandchildren, Christine, Jimmy, Stacey, TJ and Tony; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his former wife Jane M. Bell. He was predeceased by three brothers, Charles, Tom and John and three sisters, Gertrude, Ruth and Lillian.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 22, at 9:15 A.M. from the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. to Blessed Sacrament Church for mass of Christian burial at 10:00 A.M.
