Naugatuck – Jane M. (Galvin) Bell, 99, formerly of Waterbury, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, at Beacon Brook in Naugatuck. Jane was born May 17, 1924, in Waterbury, daughter of the late William and Jenny (Ney) Galvin. Raised in Waterbury she attended local schools and was a graduate of Crosby High School. She was a waitress at the Front Page Restaurant for many years. Loved playing bingo and Scratch tickets. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Ricard and her husband Edward of Waterbury and Sandy Tanganelli and her husband Tom of Prospect; her grandchildren, Christine Colella Damato, Jimmy Colella, TJ Tanganelli, Stacey DePaulo and Tony Tanganelli ; her great-grandchildren, Kaylee, RJ, Asher, Tino, Vinny, Ryan, Nick and Ava and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 12, at 10:00 A.M. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Friends may visit with Jane's family at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. from 8:30 A.M. until time to leave for Mass at 9:30 A.M.
