Wolcott – Jean-Paul I. Albert, 84, passed away on Thursday, August 29, at Ingraham Manor in Bristol. He was the husband of Sharon M. (Moffitt) Albert. Jean-Paul was born January 25, 1940, in Madawaska, Maine, son of the late Ernest C. and Esther (Dionne) Albert. Jean-Paul was employed at Pratt & Whitney for 38 years as a welder before retiring. He had served honorably in The US Army Corps of Engineers. He will be remembered as an avid fisherman and hunter and was a long time member of the Bristol Fish and Game Club. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Michael Albert and his wife Irene of Minnesota; one step-son, Maurice S. Santor, Jr of Hawaii; three brothers, Louis Albert, Ernest Albert, Jr and James Albert; three sisters, Ann Chassion, Louise Grundon and Claudette Levesque; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Edmond Albert and Reginald Albert; one sister, Leona Roy and his aunt Annette Vella. A graveside service with full military honors will be on Wednesday, September 18, at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery 317 Bow Lane Middletown, CT 06457.
