Obituary
Waterbury- Jessica M. Matos, 22, died Sunday, March 6, at her home with her loving family by her side after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Jessica was born August 22, 1988 in Farmington daughter of Pedro L. Matos of Waterbury and Sandra Pichardo of Waterbury. Jessica was raised in Waterbury and was a graduate of Wallace Middle School and Crosby High School class of 2007. She loved to read and write poetry and was currently writing a book.
In addition to her parents she is survived by one brother, Elvis Matos of Waterbury; two sisters, Casandra Matos and Alesia Matthews both of Waterbury; her paternal grandmother Mercedes (Santiago) Matos of Waterbury; her maternal grandmother Sandra Holguin of Waterbury and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 12, at 9:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday evening from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury.
