Obituary
Ansonia- Joan Saffo, 68, passed away on Friday, July 18, at the Waterbury Hospital.
Joan was born February 26, 1946 in Derby, the only child of the late John J. and Edith (Marchette) Saffo. Joan was a longtime social worker in the energy program of TEAM in the Naugatuck Valley and for the last 25 years was a supervisor at New Opportunities.
Joan was loved and survived by many friends in the social work community and sends her regards to all.
Arrangements: A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, August 1, at the New Opportunities Auditorium 232 N. Elm St. in Waterbury from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
