Waterbury - Joaquin de Jesus, 67, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016. He was the loving husband of Josefa (Espiritusanto) de Jesus.
Joaquin was born on July 27, 1949, in the Dominican Republic to the late Jose and Victoria (de Jesus) Paredes.
Including his wife, Josefa, he is survived by his sons, Domingo Perez; and Jose de Jesus; his daughters, Katty de Jesus; Yanet de Jesus; and Judy de Jesus; his brother, Tomas Cortorrea de Jesus; his sisters, Altagracia Rivera; and Francisca Paredes; several siblings in the Dominican Republic; his 10 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and extended family.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. A funeral home service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Family and friends may arrive at 10 a.m. Burial in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury will follow.
