John "Jack" Colleran, Jr., 62, of Waterbury, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. He was the husband of Kristin Leonard.

Jack was born in Bronx, NY on April 8, 1955 to the late John R. Colleran, Sr. and Anne (Fee) Colleran. He was raised in Briarcliff Manor, NY, where he attended local schools before moving to Waterbury. He worked as a Clinical Information Associate in the Waterbury Hospital for many years.

Including his wife, Kristin, Jack is survived by his daughter, Megan Colleran; his sister, Beth DiBenedetto, and her husband, Bob, of Montgomery, NY; his sister in law, Kim Oshman, and her husband, Adam, of New Milford; his brother in law, Jason Leonard, of Newtown; his nieces and nephews, Tom Lebert; Sam Karhan; Christopher, Elizabeth, and Brittany DiBenedetto; his great nephew, Troy Lake; his second family at the Waterbury Hospital; and many other extended family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 3 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. A funeral home service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
