Waterbury - John Robert Grenier Sr. 38, of Waterbury passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019.

John was born on June 26, 1981 in Port Clinton, OH, son of Lisa Grenier and the late John Hresko. John was an avid New York Giants fan, enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. He cherished the time he was able to spend with his family and will be remembered for his big heart, big smile and willingness to help anyone at any time.

Besides his mother, John is survived by his son, John R. Grenier Jr. of Gilbert, AZ, his girlfriend Michelle Sobireski with whom he made his home and her two daughters; his "Mom" Evelyn Lush, brothers; Richard (Stacey) Lush, Joseph (Margaret) Carroll, sisters Trish (Jeremy) Cleveland and Jessica Green, all of Waterbury, his Grandmother Theresa (Tom) McLaughlin of Oak Harbor, OH, twelve nieces and nephews, two great nephews, several Aunts and Uncles, Cousins and his beloved dog Nico. He was predeceased by his brother Kevin Lush.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main St., Waterbury. A service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
