In Loving Memory of Jose Francisco Muñiz Of Peñuelas, Puerto Rico It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Francisco Muñiz, a beloved husband, brother, and man of deep faith. Born in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, Jose lived a life filled with love, laughter, music, and devotion to his family and to God. Jose was married to his cherished wife, Nereida Muñiz, for 43 wonderful years, a partnership rooted in love, respect, and unshakable faith. Together they built a life full of memories, warmth, and unwavering support for one another. After years of hard work and dedication, Jose retired from Waterbury Neck and Tie, where he was known for his reliability, humility, and strong work ethic. His kindness and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Music was one of Jose's greatest joys. He found peace and happiness in playing the guitar, often filling his home with melodies that reflected his heart and soul. Through music, he expressed the love, gratitude, and faith that guided his life, leaving behind not only memories but songs that will live forever in the hearts of those who heard them. Jose is survived by his loving wife Nereida, his dear siblings, and a wide circle of family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He lived his life guided by faith, always trusting in God's plan and finding joy in the simple blessings of each day. Jose's legacy is one of love, humility, music, and strength, a reflection of the man he was and the faith he carried. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him most. May he rest peacefully in God's eternal light. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. A funeral home service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in All Saints Cemetery.
